A Wedding in Hawaii. How Original.

Another that didn’t make it June 20, 2008

Continuing my quest to share and be helpful to any other brides-to-be, here’s one more place we looked at, considered, and decided it wasn’t for us.

Ke Iki on the North Shore.

This place would be perfect for any destination bride planning a low-key smaller wedding on the beach. It is so perfect in so many ways. In fact, there are a good number of brides on the Knot that had their wedding here

It’s a collection of bungalows or small rental units right on the beach in the gorgeous North Shore of Oahu. They allow up to 100 guest (have room for about 60 to stay there, I think) and they pretty much have no rules. Anything goes. Which is very cool of them.

We decided this didn’t work for us because it was too small, a bit too casual, and as much as I’d love to have the ocean be a part of our day, I really don’t want my ceremony on the beach.
